The purpose of the panel is to train participants in recognizing and highlighting the image of God in the downtrodden. Moderator will be asking questions of panelists about their journeys of discernment for effectively serving persons experiencing homelessness. Discussion will include questions about panelists’ use of a continuum of care from facilitating emergency needs to guiding personal formation; panelists’ understanding of their goals and skills in ministry that led her to the services she provides; panelists’ understanding on how homeless people can be agents of God’s Kingdom rather than passive players in it.
